We're pleased to announce that Silvertown Studios now offers in-house Gaussian Splatting, adding another powerful tool to our virtual production and VFX pipeline.

Gaussian Splatting is an advanced 3D scene capture technology that transforms real-world locations into highly detailed, photorealistic digital environments. These captures can be explored in real time and integrated directly into modern production workflows.

For virtual production, Gaussian Splatting provides an efficient way to bring real locations onto the LED volume or into previsualisation, allowing productions to capture the look and feel of a location while reducing the need for repeated on-location shoots.

For VFX, it offers an accurate digital representation of real-world environments that can be used for set extensions, digital backgrounds, matchmoving, camera tracking, and environment reference. The result is a faster, more flexible workflow that helps visual effects blend seamlessly with live-action footage.
