  • Do you have an in-house Virtual Production team?

    Yes, the volume is fully serviced by our in-house VP and facilities teams however you are welcome to bring your own team and use our LED volume.

  • What is the pixel pitch of the LED screen?

    The LED pixel pitch is 2.5mm

  • What is the size of the LED Volume set-up?

    The standard size is 18m x 4.5m however our LED volume is completely scalable & bespoke.

  • What is the LED screen model?

    Absen PL2.5 Pro on Brompton- 2.5MM 1/8 Scan, This version of the PL2.5 is the 1/8 Scan which is perfect for virtual production and on-camera applications.

  • Do you provide LED Volume?

    Yes we do! We have permanent LED Volume set up in our Royal Docks studio. If your shoot needs LED volume, give us a call. Once we know more about your project requirements, our technical wizards will suggest what dimensions and set up would be best suited for your brief.

  • What is server solution for Unreal Engine real-time content ?

    Pixera servers and Brompton 4k video prosessors.

  • Can I use your LED Volume at another location?

    We specialise in LED so we’ll go where ever you want it! If you have a specific location in mind let us know and we can arrange for our technical crew to deliver, set up and de-rig the LED equipment.

  • What are the dimensions of Silvertown virtual production studio?

    The total building is 6,000 sq.ft, the the soundproof LED volume area is 4,500 sq.ft

  • Are there green room / dressing room / production office facilities?

    We have ample space for this withing the building, we have productions rooms and green rooms along with a catering area. Please click on the virtual tour tab to see the whole building.

  • Are your Studios suitable for Live Streaming?

    We recommend using Royal Docks Studio for any live streaming projects. Royal Docks offers the best environment as it is sound treated, therefore less interruptions from external noise!

  • Do you offer Creative Content?

    Of course! Our Creative Geniuses are on hand should you need them. We understand that all projects are unique, so our team are able to work with you provide creative solutions which will work specifically for your project.

  • Do you have parking available on-site?

    We do have limited parking onsite (9 cars). Additional local parking facilities are available for overflow should it be required.

  • Can you provide Studio Lighting?

    Yep! We work with specific studio lighting companies and can arrange for studio lighting for your film or TV productions, just let us know when booking.

  • Does the Studio have internet?

    We have a dedicated line with 400mb to 1gb. So you can live stream to your hearts content! If you require back up Internet then this can be arranged at a cost, just let us know!

  • Does the Studio have Vehicle access?

    YEAH we do! Whether it’s a classic or the latest model of the Bond car, the studio space is big enough to drive into and film the beautiful vehicles! Royal Docks location is much more suited for multiple vehicles.

  • Do you offer Catering?

    If you need to feed your crew and cast we have list of preferred catering companies we use, just let us know how hungry you are and we’ll send over details.

  • Do you dry hire the Studio?

    Absolutely! If it is just Studio Space you are after, let us know! You are able to bring your own equipment and unload efficiently. Unfortunately we do not book the studio out for a few hours. Minimum booking requirement is for one day.

  • What is your Wi-Fi capacity?

    We provide 400mbps up/down and extra back available if required.

  • What is the typical cost of virtual production?

    The exact pricing will depend on your project’s requirements and size. Indicative pricing begins from £15k per day for plate playback. The dry hire costs for studio only start from £1800+vat based on 5 days, The LED stages start from £6,500+vat Please call us so we can discuss your requirements and work out the best solution for you.

  • What are your standard payment terms?

    Payment terms are immediate (+0 days). We require a non-refundable 50% deposit to secure a booking, with the remaining 50% must be paid 3 days prior to the booking.

  • Can you do 10-bit HDR?

    Yes we can.

  • How many pixels are there per LED tile?

    200 x 200 pixels
