3D Virtual Production Silvertown Riverside

In January 2025, shot at our flagship Riverside LED stage, Silvertown Studios worked alongside The Chase Films, providing full Virtual Production shoot support with bespoke content creation from our in-house Virtual Art Department, for the creation and execution of four mini films for BASF.

Our VAD team was tasked with creating four Unreal Engine Environments; an Asian inspired cityscape, a suburban house and garden, a Los Angeles inspired street and a working farm field.

By utilising Virtual Production, The Chase Films were able to convey BASF’s commitment to sustainability not only through the finished product, but by the method of shooting with Virtual Production as well. Once Unreal Engine environment creation was complete, this campaign was shot on a custom configuration 12m x 4m flat LED at Silvertown Riverside over four days consecutively, greatly reducing the carbon footprint of this shoot compared to location shooting.
